The holes are designed for standard grocery store and garden-cut stems. Very thick stems like sunflowers or large calla lilies may not fit. For best results, trim woody or oversized stems slightly before inserting.

Does the holder work in wide and narrow vases?
Yes. The compact disc shape fits into most standard vases, mason jars, pitchers, and bowls. It sits inside the neck or rim — no special container needed.
